  • 20/11/2005: Asian Development Director Chris Huang has confirmed that the first International Asian Development Conference will take place in Kaohsiung, Taiwan from 6t-12th February. Contact Chris for further information.

  • 03/10/2005: Julio Calegari, FITB Director of International Development, will be visiting Germany from 02 - 21 October 2005. Specifically, Julio will be holding meetings and giving presentations to our tchoukball contacts in Germany.

  • 29/09/2005: Our FITB representative in Belgium, René Minten, has launched the first Belgian tchoukball web site at http://www.tchoukball-belgium.be. After their performance in the World Beach Tchoukball Championships in July 2005, Belgium are sure to be a side to watch in the future!

  • 11/07/2005: Taiwan are back! After the loss of the Men's World Championships in Kaohsiung, Taiwan re-asserted themselves on the world stage with a win over Canada in both the men's and the women's finals. The men only dropped a single set in the whole tournament to Great Britain in their first game.

  • 03/07/2005: Great Britain elected a new Executive Director, the top job in British Tchoukball. Nina Crisp, responsible for one of the main areas in the country developing tchoukball, was voted in unanimously by the country's General Assembly.

  • 30/05/2005: The organising committee for the World Beach Tchoukball Championships is proud to announce a record 9 countries have already confirmed that they will attend: Austria, Belgium, Brazil, Canada, France, Great-Britain, Hungary, the Republic of China and Switzerland. Up to 25 teams will take part in total, making this the biggest tournament in the history of tchoukball!

  • 25/05/2005: The official web site for the World Beach Championships 2005 is now on-line. Please visit www.tchoukball.org/wbtc05for the very latest information on the Beach Tchoukball Championships.

  • 19/04/2005: The FITB has made great progress with its development program in Senegal. A letter to the Minister of Education has been sent, and response to the development program has been strong. Please contact us for further details.

  • 30/03/2005: The FITB has launched a development program to start tchoukball in Africa. Two representatives from our Swiss headquarters are travelling Africa to visit contacts and spread the game. Please contact us for further details.

  • 29/01/2005: World Beach Tchoukball Championships announced!

    The FITB is proud to present the World Beach Tchoukball Championships in Geneva, Switzerland from 5-11 July 2005. For further information, contact Erika Mesmer at erika.mesmer@tchoukball.ch or download our full document for the Championships.

  • 26/01/2005: The FITB is pleased to announce Yan Pacini as our Official Representative in Mauritius. If you would like more information about playing or developing tchoukball in Mauritius, please contact Yan at yan@tchoukball.mu or visit www.tchoukball.mu for further details.

  • 10/12/2004: FITB Director of International Development, Julio Calegari, has returned from Chile where he has been teaching the game in schools. This is part of the FITB's continuing mission to develop tchoukball in new countries around the world.

  • 02/11/2004: FITB Technical Commission Director Michel Thomann has launched the first ever system for reporting injuries sustained during playing tchoukball. To report an injury, no matter how small, visit our resources section.

  • 20/10/2004: The FITB is preparing tchoukball for the 2009 World Games to be held in the city of Kaohsiung, Taiwan. For information about these games, visit the official World Games web site.
