The 2011 World Tchoukball Championship was held in Ferrara Italy, from August 3rd to 7th. Fourteen Countries attended the event with Men and Women teams, it was, by far, the biggest World Tchoukball event ever organized, in the number of teams participating.
In the Men category 13 teams took part in the tournament, as the Women category saw 7 teams enjoyed the opportunity to play with other countries. Five asian countries were represented, eight european countries, and one american country were represented in this event.
In the men category, Tapei finished first, followed by Italy, and Singapore, as Switzerland finished fourth, Austria finishing fifth before Great Britain which finished sixth, followed, by Germany, Brasil, United Arab Emirates, Cezch Republic, France, Spain and Philippine.
In the women category, Tapei finished first, followed by Switzerland, and Singapore, Italy finishing fourth, followed by Great Britain, and Austria, Hong Kong, Germany, and Czech Republic.
